Bearded Dragon Egg

Hey guys. I have a 6 year old bearded dragon named Leo. Long story short, I brought my Leo to the vet because I was concerned about one of his eyes. After spending 5 hours there, I learned that LEO was actually a female and she was gravid! (She was 4 weeks old when I purchased her from Petco. I was told she was a boy and I never thought any different.)
The Vet prescribed antibiotics injections plus eye meds . Recheck in 2 weeks.
Now, Cleo has never ever been one to eat her Leafy greens,
She will only eat green beans, slices of apple, strawberries, and watermelon. On occasion she will have a piece of butternut squash or cactus pear. I can't sprinkle any vitamin supplements on or in her food cause then she will just not eat at all.

It's been a week since our recheck appointment at Vet, She is lethargic, and very sleepy. Barely opened her eyes ( which they are both still swollen) So, what if she is going through brumation AND is gravid? I don't wanna panic, but I am panicking! How long can she have these unfertile eggs inside of her? I guess my MAIN concern is that she will become egg bound. I know I should probably bring her back in for X-rays. That's another $500. I have already spent $960 at the vet and not really seeing much improvement with Cleo
Any insight would be helpful. Please be kind!
Thanks for your time

Here is one response from one of the people I reached out to
Has the dragon become worse after the vet visit and the 2 weeks of antibiotic injections ? I ask because for an eye problem, ointment or drops would likely have sufficed , all the injections probably were unnecessary and made her feel worse. What did this vet do for charging $960 ? Was an xray done that determined she has eggs ? I would look for a new vet ASAP, this one seems to not know what they are doing.

BTW, fruit is not a good diet, cut those out and only offer greens and appropriate insects. Kale, collards, mustard and turnip greens. Dubia, crickets , a few superworms, silk or horworms once in a while.
website for vet -- type in a zip code for a city closest to you if your in a small town www.arav.org

Hello,

How long would you say she may have had infertile eggs? It varies but if she reabsorbs the eggs, then she wont lay any eggs but they will just reabsorb & her body will excrete some out. If she has shelled them, then usually it takes 4 to 5 weeks on average to lay them.
Did the vet possibly dose the antibiotic too high for her?
For now, I would start trying to get extra oral fluids into her. It sounds like the antibiotics are too much on her right now. Which antibiotic was given?
Be sure to keep her a little warmer overnight to help boost her immune system.

To help with the greens in the future, you can add some bee pollen to 'sweeten' the taste, and/or dip the greens in a mixture of ground up mealworm and a touch of water. Then she will be more likely to eat them if they smell and taste more like the bugs she likes. I hope that helps and that she gets better soon ❤️
