Hi I have a two year old bearded dragon that I got in July and recently she’s been only hanging out in her cool side (I keep her basking spot between 100 and 110 and she cool side around 90). She also has a t5 uvb that’s “in” her enclosure on top. But she also has had these dark spots on her back but no stress spots on her stomach. I thought she was just brumating but please let me know if it’s something different. I did get her from a pretty bad situation, she was in a filthy 20 gallon with no type of lighting at all being fed lettuce and dried crickets.buts shes now in a 65 gallon front open enclosure. And I took her to the vet like a month after I got her and she said she said everything was ok and she’s now on collard greens/ mustards greens, and some red bell peppers and fruits occasionally. And she eats black soldier fly larva and dubia with calcium about once or twice a week. She will occasionally eat but hasn’t been recently but I do give her soaks to make sure she’s staying hydrated. I added some pictures the second is what she normally looks like and the first is to show those dark spots and the third is just her enclosure.

She looks great and I am sure in much better shape from what you got her out of :) -- the dark spots look like coloring - to me she looks great other than the fact shes going to shed on top of her head

Ok so do u think she’s just brumating?
Possibly but we need to rule lighting out and basking temps--- what are you using for a UVB coil or tube where in the tank is it? Basking temps what are they and how are you taking them?

The first on is the temperature gage and the one on the ground is how I measure the humidity. Her basking spot is 100-105 and her cool side is around 90 and her humidity is around 20-25%. And the second is her uvb which is hung up on the inside of her enclose and it’s a tube and a t5 bulb.

Ok you need to get a basking temp on the hammock where the probe is it's giving you ambient temp- you want a actual basking temp 95-110-- the UVB is good how old is the bulb? Distance should be 12-15 inches directly above basking decor--the bulb should be changed out yearly--- my guess is she is slowing down for winter- they do tend to go off their food as well -keep her hydrated- you might want to get a weight on her -- kitchen food scale weigh in grams-- keep track of she is losing weight like a lot a little is ok then something else is going on--

The probe is right next to the hammock should I put it actually on it? I also just replaced all my uvbs about 2 months ago. And yeah it’s about 13 inches from her log.

Yes-- you want actual basking temp of where she's sitting- ir guns cannot register hammocks so it's best to use digital
