Hello,
just went to check on my little guy not long after turning his lights on for the day and I found some kind of tiny (probably around the size of a grain of garlic) white bug moving around near Karoo's mouth. I've heard that mites are black so any ideas on what this could be?

I couldn't find it again, but I did a search and found this picture. It looked just like the white specks but I just saw one and it was definitely moving. According to where I got this picture from (it was a Reddit post) these things could be mold or grain mites. Could that be possible? I've been trying to breed my own crickets and do feed them a grain mix I got from Josh’s Frogs.

Those look like grain mites. May have hitchhiked in on food. They are a pain, but harmless. The best way I've found to get rid of them is to reduce humidity in the room using a dehumidifier near the infestation. They seem to just disappear when the air gets dry enough - they thrive in humid environments.

Phew! I'm so relieved they're harmless:). I'll get right to taking care of the humidity. It isn't very high right now, but I’ll lower it a bit more to get that taken care of. Thank you so much!
