!help! is his tail rot?

Hi, I'm a new bearded dragon owner and just rescued my beardie Acorn, ive been worried he's sick and recently have noticed the bend and discoloration at the tip of his tail and dont know if it is something I should be worried about or just bringing of shedding.

It still has the stripes, it should be fine. A lot of beardies have a darker end of tail, my lizard's tail turns grey at the end, it has been that way since I bought her.
