Hi all. We bought a complete custom made Viv 3 weeks ago with 3beardies aged about 18 months, 3 females, 1 male, we gave one away so now 2females and the male (so I'm told, I struggle to sex!) one female is doing good, the other seems slightly dehydrated but I'm really worried about the male his size has decreased rapidly he's just bones now, can't get him to eat anything. I've been bathing regular, he is pooing. Any help greatly appreciated. I've googled and read books but unsure if men behave any different as if the female ok, why isn't he? Thanks....

Could not be getting any food. Others could be dominate over him.

Separate the male from the females when feeding. Make sure he's drinking drop water over his head and see if he drinks.

Could try a supplement like this one.

Helps to get him perked up until he eats alone.

Rake him to a vet and see what's up.

Have any pics of him?

What's setup like?
Uvb bulb?
Basking area temp?
Cool area temp?
Substrate u use?
What do you feed them?

I have noticed my females are much more dominant than my male so I agree he may not be getting to eat. I personally have my females separated from each other and I house my male with the more docile female and they share food very well. Sexing is tricky I will post a few pics that might help

This is my male and it's really hard to see cause they hate to be upside down but the dots that run across legs and his junk are dark

This is my female and it's a little easier to see the dots, on the females they are lighter covered dots. In this pic you van actually see the dots lol, my male turns black when he's pissed at me ;)

Your male might not be getting enough food. Try feeding him separately to the females as they could be dominating him.

Also, do you feed him greens? If you don't give him a salad in the morning, leave it in there for 15 minutes then take it out. Do this everyday.

How much crickets do you feed him? Feed him as many as he can eat in 10-15 minutes, only once a day everyday. Remember to dust it with calci-dust 5 times a week, and dust it with multi-vitiman 2 times a week :)

Hope this helped!
