Have two adult females that love together.. They've recently started not eating.. They eat maybe 2-3 (crickets or meal worms or super worms or Phoenix worms) and then they only eat barely any lettuce! I don't know what to do!! Any suggestions please!!!

Check the temps. Are they preparing to shed? How old are they? It seems a bit late to be going into brumation - but might could be. Try some mashed berries on the greens. Any recent changes? Might they be stressing?

Hi, one a couple things could be happening. Without details im going to give you what is typical.

1. Brumation: Its that time of year and genetically they are driven to slow down. While some dont 90% do. There are many different levels of brumation. They dont have to be sleeping 24/7 to warrant it :)

2. Housing together. This is a touchy situation. Depending on the size of tank or enclosure. One or both may be wanting there own space now and are stressing each other out. Some females do well together for years and then one day just decide its no longer going to work.

3. Age: As they grow older some will trim down there diet naturally. They are still a bit young for this but truly there is no time limit to this situation.

4. Prey variety: May be bored with your feeder choices.

5. Improper nutrition: Hopefully you are dusting with plain calcium at every feeding. (PLAIN CALCIUM) in line with good UVB bulb and exposure.

Do you soak them regularly? I give mine a bath weekly (when theyre not brumating - every 2 weeks then). Hows their poo? Mine (2) dont poo daily. Sometimes they dont poo until their bath. Do they get exercise? I mean - outside their home. Stress can be fom anything - moved their home? Got a new dog or cat? Change in routine? Odd that both of them are reluctant to eat. Might want to have their feces checked for parasites (take a sample to vet). Are they sleeping more? How long has this been going on?

Yeah see these are all things that I haven't changed.. They r in a 100 gallon tank.. Tons of room for the two of them.. I take them out for about 10-15min each day so they can run around.. I give them baths every 2-3 days as well as mist them daily.. I always dust there food and they never have the same thing in a week.. Always a variety of food.. I don't have any other pets other then bearded dragons.. An yes there poo is very runny ( one of them is) I was going to do a fecal sample and take in but my vet is closed till Monday now.. I also have a 10.0 UVB bulb that spans the whole length of their tank.. And they do sleep a lot but they have always really slept quiet a bit..
