Hi there. Was wondering if you could advise. Juvenile beardie has had like a tea stain on her belly. I thought it was unshed skin but she has shed a couple of times since it first appeared. It hasn't got any worse or better. If you could advise it would

Like i sed im no expert but if it not cum off wen she shed its not just on a layer of skin. R u sure its not skin thats just not shed. I no sometime skin may need a little help to shed. Maybe a soft wipe with a towel ? But if it not id defo go the vet. Do u bath her regular? :)

Bathe her every 3 days or so. Might try giving her longer bath and wipe her with towel and see. She has shed a couple of times since it appeared. Thanks for your help.

Bathed her again and tried rubbing it with warm damp flannel. No difference. :( I would have thought a fungal infection would spread? This appeared overnight and hasn't got any worse.

It looks like a piece of shed skin. Mine had a piece on her belly that was there for 3 months. I used a product called Reptile-shedding aid ( I posted pictures if you look in product endorsements) anyway I sprayed it on her belly every night for like 3 nights and it came off in one sheet!

Also, rub it on his inner legs and near his vent....it looks like there's some shed going on there too.

Yay. Skin starting to come off so nothing serious. Phew! Didn't even get the shed aid yet. The long soak and rub with face cloth obviously helped. :) going to pet shop shortly to see if they have shed aid anyway. She looks to be having trouble shedding a couple of patched. Poor baby. :(

That's great! Glad it was nothing serious. If you don't have one, a baby toothbrush helps too. You can use it to gently scrub the skin.
