Right now I’m feeling like the worst beardie mum in the world so please don’t judge as nobody can be more angry and worried at myself than me right now!
Am new to this!
Have a 5 week old baby bearded dragon.
Went off his crickets and hadn’t eaten in 5 days had tried waxworms but not interested so yesterday brought mealworms thinking they was ok ( I now know they are not! especially for babies as can cause blockage ) for him to eat. He ate 6

He seems fine in himself, active, happy, is there anything I can do to get him through this that would help…
He hasn’t pooed for about 4-5 days as obviously he hadn’t eaten anything.
Drinking water when being put on his mouth.
Being misted with water.
Going through a shred.
Only had him 10 days
Fed the mealworms once yesterday at around 5pm and he ate 6….
What’s anyone’s advice….
Thanks in advance.

No more meal worms please -- hes too young and they will cause impaction especially alot of them --- he should be pooping every day -- feed small crickets or small dubia roaches or small silk worms or BSFL -- are you in the UK? Please go over the surface basking temps they should be 105-110 F taken w/ a digital probe thermometer -- a good long tube UVB fixture NO coils please - they UVB needs to be properly placed for the screen on the tank --- its good hes drinking water - he will go thru relocation stress and the eating will be off but as long as hes eating thats good -- the correct lighting is going to help him adjust to his tank and surroundings better --

His since passed 3 poops one a day.

Went to a reptile shop yesterday and it turns out I wasn’t sold the correct equipment with the set up!!!!! Absolute joke and the guy said this is probably why he wasn’t eating as temps prob wasn’t right, I now have just installed a

The Arcadia 14% is a strong bulb make sure you have the distance around 17-18 inches if its in the tank - the CHE is for night time temps? They are not a basking bulb- they give off no UVA so if your using that as a basking bulb its not going to do what you need it to do --- that is start digestion - CHE do not give off UVA and do not give off enough heat
