Hi. I just bought a German giant beardie. He's awesome, around 22 inches and 2 and a half years old. We built him a 5 and a half foot viv which he loves. His name is Marley. He loves running round the house and if the sun shines in the house (which isn't very often in the UK) he lies in the sun. This forum is great, pleased I found it.

He puffed his gills out and went to bite me yesterday!!

Oh no! He was being naughty wasn't he! If you just got him maybe he's just not used to being handled much? Maybe indulge by hand or tong feeding occasionally to "make friends"? Or maybe he was just in a mood.

He's like a hormonal teenager. Most days he's great. Loves being cuddled and climbs all over me and takes good out of my fingers.
