Hello all, I'm a new Beardie daddy, to my beautiful daughter "Lacey." She is a gorgeous Hypo Het Trans with top notch genes from a renown breeder. She will arrive home to me Weds. I can't wait! Notice the unique circles down her back, and the white lines. To me, they look like shoe laces, hence her name Lacey.

I know I'm a total noob, but it's displaying my "real" name, but I wanted to set a username. I can't find where to change that?

Yeah, she wasn't all that cheap. But she is such a beautiful color morph, that she was worth it many times over!

She is beautiful. I bought my third dragon from a breeder and I'm happy I paid the extra money for my girl as well. Seems like they change so much when they are young. I've had mine three weeks and she has been totally shed for two days before color changes started for next shed. I was excited and scared at the same time waiting for mine to arrive and once I opened the bag I fell in love again. My children claim I care more for my dragons than them. Maybe.......

I can totally agree with you on that! And it is very easy to care so deeply with them. Heck, once they are "trained", it's so easy to take them with you on errands etc! They'll just hang on to your shirt collar/neck, or perch on a shoulder...

My three all have very different personalities. I can't keep from laughing when I feed my new girl because she runs all over the cage with her mouth open chasing down her crickets. The others just wait for them to get close before they make a move to eat them. First girl loves sitting on my shoulder but I wouldn't trust the new one there yet. She's still to hyper when she's out.I don't think I would take mine out without a collar and leash. I'd be devastated if something happened and you never know what will spook them.
