So I'm new to the forum but I've been lurking around for about a month. I'm not new to beardies but I'm new to owning my own. Our first was a 10 year old rescue someone was giving away at a garage sale because their grandkids never cared for him. He lived another 3 happy years in the sun :) my brother then rescued 4 more from a young friend. One had severe MBD, another had sand impacted in her eye and constant infections as well as MBD. The other two were older and healthier. But both were stunted because all were kept together in a 30 gallon. The two with MBD lived another 3 years but never fully recovered. He still has the other two :)
So while I've been around beardies, I've never cared for my own until recently. I got my girl from the PETsMART I work at. I couldn't say no to her amazing personality and just how beautiful she is. My boyfriend who is Creek Native named her Lané Kvnsvlatkv (lah-nee kahn-sah-lot-kah) or Lané for short. It means Yellow Lizard in Native Creek. And she is just amazing. Anyhow, I joined just to expand my knowledge and cause I may have a few questions here and there. Glad to be here :)

Here is my beautiful girl ❤
