Hello i'm natalia and about two weeks ago I got a bearded dragon, he is 2 and a half months.

I have a problem, when I got him the pet store workers told me to feed him 2 crickets every two days and not to feed him worms or veggies but online it doesn't agree and I've read a lot but most of them say different things. If someone could tell me what to feed him, how much and how often I would appreciate it. So far I let him eat as many crickets as he wants but I'm not sure it good.

I have a lot of things I could use help or advice on so if anyone could tell me what to do it would be great.

Thanks

Welcome to the adventure. You can almost count on pet store representatives not having a clue. What you're doing is great as many crickets as he can eat in 15 minutes. Don't leave the extra crickets in the cage they may bother him. He's a little guy yet also some of the worms may be too large for him stick with crickets for a while. You can offer vegetables every day he probably won't eat them yet. Most babies don't eat veggies but some do. Green veggies are good. Dandelion greens, collard greens, endive, mustard, turnip. Lots of good prople on here. Lots of good info - have a look around and ENJOY!!

Thanks you at least I know what I'm doing is not wrong :) also if I could ask, after he eats crickets and he doesn't want anymore he starts biting his wood and he tries eating his beech chips. Can this harm him in any way?

It maybe his way of saying "im stuffed leave me alone" i know when i eat to much im miserable too. Lol. I usually just leave mine alone for a while after she eats so she can digeat her food in peace. Its normal and good that they have a nice round belly that means tbey are eating plenty. As for the wood chips if thats what you use as a substrate i would recommend taking them out its an impaction risk. Use paper towel repticarpet newspaper or the like. At least until its 14" or bigger.
