Hello ! I am the newly owned mom by two bearded dragons. Both rescued from a home that wasn't properly taking care of them. One male one female. I named them Zoey and Wash. Both are very active and curious. Zoey doesn't seem as comfortable being handled but Wash is a darling and Loves to be cuddled. Not even a week after they claimed me Zoey was rushing about in her enclosure in a fury. She was so stressed, Not really eating but she had eliminated every where.. Literally everywhere. I jumped online and figured she was gravid and ran out and bought sand and vermiculite and set up a laying bin. Sure enough she graced us with 18 eggs. A majority were not viable and most likely infertile. We ended up saving 8 of them. With her improper care her calcium levels were low and many eggs were horribly unsuccessfully laid. Oh well. I really didn't have intentions of Incubating them at first. I dug them out a few days after being laid thought well some of these look ok. Now they are in a container and actually growing at Room temps of 80* Candling them has shown movement deffinately a month later in 5 of them. we shall see. Either way I am here to learn and to help others. It may be my first personal clutch and pair but I have worked with reptiles for many years just never owned by them. lol.

hello and welcome, good for you taking on some rescues I recently did similar (male and female living together) thankfully no eggs have been laid and they were immediately separated but I am keeping an eye out since I have read about lizards retaining sperm to lay at a later date
