Hello fellow beardie enthusiast,

I am new to this forum and also to bearded dragons, but not new to reptiles. My name is Ken and i am just another reptile lover from southern california. I currently owned and care for 2 super giant leopard geckos. My cousin got a beardie a couple weeks ago and when i saw/handled it, I suddenly wanted one for myself. I just thought they were the coolest things and I just love their personalities as well as their appetites. So I went looking on for a beardie around the 5-6 month old mark. I happened to browse craiglist for beardies and came across one that was only 40 bucks and was about 6 months old and 9-10 inches long. I contacted seller and scheduled a meet and checked out the dragon. It was a very good looking dragon, but the only thing i noticed was that the very tip of the tail has a kink in it, maybe the last (1mm) of it, but everything else looked great and it was very active. Do you guys think the part of the tail that is kinked will just fall off eventually? I asked the guy if it was male or female, but he had no idea. I also asked what kind of morph it was was because i saw some red markings, but he wasn't sure. I took some pictures while he was getting used to his new home. I was wondering if anyone could help me find out what morph he/she is? Thank you in advance for the help. :)

Here is Mr. Burns.

Here is the tip of his tail.

Dragon looks good.
Looks like a normal beardie to me. The tail portion will never fall off.

The dark colors, with how dark his browns are shows he isnt happy. Changing homes does that, give him a week and he should be fine.

Actually those mark under there bellies are called "stress marks" , but actually have nothing to do with stress.......

Those marks are completely normal. They are called stress marks, but despite the name they don't really mean stress. They happen when a Bearded Dragon is cold, irritated, interested in something, and sometimes they just randomly show up just because. At any rate, they are nothing to be alarmed about.
