Anyone ever keep hedgehogs? My hubby and I went to the pet store and fell in love with the babies they have. I won't be buying one this time, want to gain more knowledge first, but sometime in the future.

I havn't owned one personally, but my friend volunteers at a petting zoo, and she says it's pretty much like having an adorable, slightly prickily hamster. You can keep it in a sterilite bin or a pretty large hamster cage, and theirs loves messing with toilet paper tubes. Hope this helped a bit. ::)

You'll love it corrine. They like a lot of attention and playtime
Def get one from a breeder tho. Lots of nasty things come with unkempt babies

Gina would you happen to know a good website about thier basic care? I'm having a hard time finding one. I'm also finding a lot of conflicting info on thier diet. I can definately see one in the future tho.
