Hefs head and beard look like their coated in wax and he is not happy. That strawberry wouldn't stand a chance any other day. I can't even give him a little soak cuz it's his head.

When I give Izzy a soak I make sure that get my finger wet and dribble some on her head... Or I mist her, she is in process of shedding as well legs are done, half of her tail done..Now it's her back and head and rest of tail... So can you maybe soak his head at least that way?

I hate head sheds too. It's like how do you soak that? Mine like the shower sprayer so I will turn that on and let them sit under it for a bit. Dexter does a little dance where she puts her head right in the middle and then slowly moves forward so the stream goes down her body. She's such a goof :p

Mine don't get crabby either and they are actually more hungry when they are shedding. Even Bumble the chameleon lets me rub his casque when he is shedding.

That's awesome!! lol Izzy is in full on shed on her head, back, front legs and bottom half of her tail.. She's not acting like she's enjoying it :( Gave her a nice soak.. At least her appetite is still strong she's just not very active and she's not basking as much.. So I took her out in the sun this afternoon. Oh not to mention our weather turned cooler .... Our poor babies
