My one year old lizard keeps finding the rabbit poop! Will that make him sick? Does that count as a veggie intake because it's grass?
I wouldn’t NOT allow my beardie to eat another animals stool, all the nutrition has been zapped out of it and ur beardie is eating waste :( clean up his roaming area, get some blueberries and roll those around.

I would definitely not recommend poop as food group. BD tank and roaming area needs to be very clean. They (the BD's) literally do not like dirty areas.

What???? DONOT evergive him rabbit poop. Never ever feed bottled food, pellets or mealworms. Only crickets and Dubia roaches are the best alongside his plate of greens/veggies everyday to snack on all day. Under a year idk they need lots of proteins for their bones. How old is he? Lots of proteins 3-4 feedings per day at 0-6Mnths old then do 2-3 feedings ( feed till he stops eating) of proteins/day till he turns 8mnths old then do 2feedigms per day of large crickets like 35-40 crickets & Dubia roaches also and after a year old u can feed 15-20 large crickets/day or 20 every other day; u can add superworms & some hornworms as treats only after he turns a year old. they are high In fat. Also everyday a fresh plate of greens & veggies; mustard greens, collard greens, dandelions, yellow squash, butternut squash, green beans and snap peas. Change the uvb light every 6Mnths, use a zoomed heat lamp for heat. Never ever use black, red or any colored bulbs. At night no lights on ever only a ceramic heat emitter for heat In the winter if temp drops below 70.

Er . . . sorry you probably didn't intend for it, but I did get a chuckle. As Skybug and Zontar's Mom suggested it's probably not a good idea for them to eat rabbit poop. Aside from the non-nutritional value it's probably not helping his digestion. I've actually never seen anything in regards to beardies and poo eating so have no other advice to give then what has been mentioned.

That being said, I wouldn't think rabbit poo is toxic. But that's just my opion. I have no idea. I mean rabbits eat vegetables and grain and their poo is little brown nuggets of that waste. Eating a few probably wouldn't do lasting harm as long as it wasn't a lot, I wouldn't think. I'd suggest calling and asking your vet, though. They probably can answer right over the phone and if it's toxic they could see him. Better safe than sorry.
