Give him some canned pumpkin w/ no spices in it and keep feeding till he poops it out -- please change out your substrate if that is where he got it from --- he will get impacted --- you can use paper towels for now and then you can get some textured NON adhesive shelf liner cut to the size of the tank --- insects cannot get underneath and clean w/ vinegar/ water 50/50 solution

He got the pebble from when we were outside. His tank has tile so he didn’t get it from there. I’ll be way more careful when I’m outside. I’m omw to get pumpkin now.

Ok-- the canned pumpkin is a natural laxative add a little olive oil like a drop or two and hopefully he will poop it out

Good news. He pooped! But no rock. I can still feel it in his poophole area tho. Is it normal for them to have a hard lump in there poophole area? All of the YouTube videos and websites say that they drag their legs, don’t eat, throw up and so on when they get impaction but he’s doing none of this..

Hopefully it will come out-- just watch for it make sure he stays hydrated that will push thing thru as well you don't want him plugged

Can he still be plugged even if he poops?? Or if he poops can we assume he’s not plugged

My 1 year old still tries to eat small rocks when out in the backyard. He ate one a couple days ago so I've been keeping a close eye. Moral is...doesn't matter how old they are, keep a close eye on them..

How big was the pebble? It may have come out without u knowing? (Unless ur going through his stools) what vitamins and supplements is the dragon getting? There’s a direct Correlation between not having the proper amount of vitamins/supplements and them craving that mineral.

That's a thought I haven't considered actually. What minerals are in those really small rocks/pebbles? Salt? Zinc?

Idk , I would think just they’re craving aggregated rock dust (which has a little bit of everything in it) , but usually when a beardie is eating their substrate or rocks, they’re missing something in their diet, my beardie has never eaten anything (besides carpet fuzz)

It was about that big. We use vitamins with d3 twice a week and calcium powder without d3 the rest of the days.

Your 4 month old needs calcium D 3 5 x per week once per feeding-- calcium w/ out D 3 no phosphorus comes after a year and then depending on the uvb your using will determine how often between the two

Oh ok! Everyone always recommends different things whenever I ask about this but I will definitely be switching to a calcium with d3.

Warm baths in dechlorinated water and rub his tummy gently downwards in the bath that will help him poop. How Sid he eat a pebble if u take him outside let him sit on your lap or prop him up on a rolled up towel like at the spa.
