Having 2 dragons

Good Morning all,

Just a few questions....right now we have our 2 Viv's beside each other with a board in between them....as I do not want to stress out Harley or the wee one with seeing each other...is it safe to remove so they can see each other?? We have kept them completely separated...and are never out at the same time...as I am so scared something bad will happen because I do not believe that Harley has ever seen another dragon and with him being so small....well you know !

Can you let me know how your set ups are with more than one dragon ?

Thanks
Laurie

Hi, Laurie. I would not remove your board. Most with multiple dragons stack the vivs or have them in separate rooms.

Territorial instincts can come into play and they will not know they are in separate vivs. As always, I tend to stay on the side of caution and I would keep the board up.

I have my tanks upstairs in positions that really have no direct line of site between adults, but dozer goes nuts every few days cause he catches glimpses of the other dragons

Enough said...the board will remain until I get some better lights so we can put the other viv underneath Harley's stand which was my original plan so that way they will never see each other.

Thanks
