I just bought a hatchling yesterday and I'm growing concerned about its behavior. At the pet shop it was very lively, but once we got home its been hardly moving, barely openning its eyes, and not eating at all. Its breathing seems labored as well. Its been 24 hours now and I'm starting to get very worried. Hot end of the 20 gal tank is hovering around 100 degrees and we have a UVB 10.0. Pictures of the setup and bearded dragon.

If your using a coil UVB please get rid of it- you will need to upgrade the tank--- here soon before he's a year old so invest in a UVB that's gonna go into a 40 + gallon tank--- your gonna need a 24" fixture Zoo Med this fixture comes w/ a 5.0 bulb it's considered a T 8 for a 20 gallon you can use this bulb but it needs to be unobstructed and 6-8 inches from basking decor directly over head- you will need a Reptisun 10.0 T 5 22" bulb--for a bigger tank- basking temps should be 105-110 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer No stick ons they are inaccurate-- it is hard to keep temps in small tanks-- your dragon will go thru relocation stress- he should eat something if he stops eating all together there is a issue-- basking temps and correct uvb are the most important thing in the tank
