Handling Your Dragon Outside Their Cage??

My fox is about 4 and I take him out and it can be for hours if I have a heat pad set up on my bed
If I'm taking him somewhere, like to my aunts house for a costume party he can be out all day and I give him an extra hour of light when I get home and I won't take him out the next day
So it really can depend how comfortable you are with taking them out and if you have any extra resources

^agreed, it really just depends on your environment and your dragons preferences.

I leave my 7month old's door open when I'm home so that she can come and go as she pleases. There are days she will spend the majority of the day out of her cage, usually in the window sill. Other days she doesn't leave her cage at all unless I get her out to spend time with her.

Beemos just about 4 months old, and I handle her daily. Usually I'll bring her out, and let her climb on me, if she's a bit antsy I'll sit on the floor with the viv open and let her come and go as she pleases. Depends on Beemo, she'll let me know when she wants back in her viv. Can be happy being out for 10 mins, somedays can be hours. If I have nothing else to do, I just let her decide.

Mine are 4, 3 and 2.5 and I let them each out for about an hour or so at separate times. Usually when they start to fall asleep somewhere, I put them back in their tanks.

Mine are 1 1/2 female and 11 month male. They each get an hour or so running around a room, and they both get some time napping on my chest before they go back into their tanks for the night.

After Hefs warmed up I bring him out whenever I can and at night for sure. We tuck them in and have cuddle time before bed. Otherwise they'll sleep in some godawful position up against the glass on their tail or something.
