Yes omg.... SO HOT its currently as high as it can go. 194.5 DEGREES is what it was at. Now 112. but it has like a direct spot where it gets rlly hot. I dont like it hopefully over time the heat goes down

You do not want to wait for it to go down -- you dont want temps over 110- my suggestion either raise the halogen up -- halogens focus on one spot -- the regular basking bulbs shine outward not just downward like the halogen --

I made the bulb go as high as my stand will allow it. It reads 120.....

too hot get a lower wattage halogen or back to a regular bright white basking bulb -- I had the same issue long ago but I had mine on the screen and it was over 200 -- I went back to the regular basking bulbs -- I didnt want to dink around w/a stand etc

Can i get a 50W or a 75W intense basking spot exo terra. Its all my pet store has as of now?
You can get a 75 watt -- do you have a another dome you can run two basking bulbs next to one another just watch your temps -- its going to be trial and error w/ the bulbs to get the temp you want

Will a 50W or 75W be to cold? I can lower the bulb super far into the tank
