Hello, I'm from south Texas and I love reptiles of all kinds, at the moment I only have one beardie :( the other sadly passed after he came down with an unknown illness and his condition went down hill fast as soon he stopped eating and then 'left us'. Now I have a 2.5 year old female who is in all terms a lemon. She is extremely yellow and very bitter, and after 2 years has never warmed up to me she's not the worst beardie I've ever seen but she isn't the best (she's not an all out attack animal but she's sketchy but that doesn't keep me from handling her). Hopefully this forum can teach me some new tricks so I can make her even happier and hopefully warm up to me and be even more comfortable being handled.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry for your loss. Hope you find some good info here. It's good that you still handle her even though she's not so nice. The first step to gaining trust is to not show her that you are afraid of her.
