Thanks everyone! :D

Crystal, I'm just going to take a break for a while - get a good job and save some money. I plan on going back to school, for hairstyling. :) BUT since my world of reptiles began, I have considered herpetology, to become a herpetologist. The process will be long, considering I have to go to college or university to take a biology course and whatnot, but would definitely be worth it. I would also have to move to Saskatchewan, Canada to take the course I need for this career, since Manitoba colleges and universities do not offer it.

Let me give you some words of wisdom. Don't take time off from school. Once you start working school gets pushed farther and farther back on the list of things you have to do. I said I was going to go back and 8 years later after me and my husband lost our jobs at the same time and we are just getting by did I realize how important school was and found a way to get it done. It took losing everything to find a way back to school when I should have just found a way to go 8 years ago instead of saying I have to save money first. Now I have 2 kids, no money, no job, but found my way back to school. Take the summer off and take a class or 2 at a time, just to keep school in your life.

Sorry, the mom in me is coming out. I will stop the lecture now.

Oh I understand, Sandra! Some of my family were saying the same thing. But if I truly want either of these careers, I will go back to school for it. And if I don't go back, it's because I don't want to follow that career path anymore. You know what I mean? I don't know if that makes sense, but I don't know exactly how to word it.

She's a young Grandma. My maternal Grandma was 38 when I was born....so right about the same age as your Mom. Unfortunately, we lost her to cancer when she was just 56....that was 21 years ago.

Yep, a young grandma alright. People think it's her own son! My mom looks young. People say she looks like my sister's sister, when they are compared to each other. ;D Crazy!

I'm really sorry to hear about your grandma, Craiger. :(

I also missed this thread. Congratulations!!

I was a young grandma, at 38 also and anytime I took places people thought she was mine. ;D

I am sorry Craig that you lost your grandma. I lost both of my grandma's when I was a child so I never really knew what it was like to have one.
