So the last several days Izzy has been slow slow to come out of her hide in the am, she will just poke her head out sometimes closed but mostly open... Her eating has slowed alot. She's only 7 or so months old I don't think she's going into brumation but maybe she is... Being that we are in WI it is starting to stay cooler however since I have bad arthritis and Fibro we keep the house a nice 73 all the time.. But heck what do I know :) As long as she still eats some food today she had a big juicy roach and some greens, she's pooping fine, she's drinking water...so if she want's to slow down I don't have much of a choice :)

Thats what mine usually do in the winter. As long as she is eating and pooping still and when you take her out of her tank she is alert, I wouldn't worry about it.

It's just sad to see them getting sleepy and you wake up every day wondering if this is the day they are going to in brumation. One reason I got Luci was I couldn't bear thinking about Dexter going to sleep and me not having my little buddy. So I thought if I had 2 theres a chance when one is sleeping the other would be awake. Well when Luci slept for those 2 days I was SOOO SAD! Even though Dexter was wide awake I missed my little devil :)

it is sad when they are not as active. Hopefully she doesn't go into full brumation but well it's not up to me is it? lol She's doing ok today not full active but she's eat nice this am both roaches and super's and her greens and had a nice soak and poop. I guess we will see what she is going to do.

Yeah, it's not up to us unfortunately. Luci is being extra lazy today and he has stayed in his hide all day today. I keep peeking at him and he has his eyes open, just doesn't want to dragon today :(

Well she took forever to wake up this morning, I let her wake up while I'm just relaxing on my chest. She ate a bunch of her greens and a big male roach other than that nothing. She enjoyed her soak/swim with a good poop. Came home from doing some errands and at 1:30pm she was fast asleep on the floor of her warm side....Not hidden pretty funny actually she was sprawled out like a spread eagle lizard style.. lol She wakes up and stares at me when I talk to her :) so out she comes I put her on my chest and boom out cold she goes.

Think she's going to do a partial brumation lol Silly little Dragon

We are in the same boat with Luci again. I took him out for a bath yesterday and when I put him back in he just laid across his log under the heat. He didn't poop in the bath so I gave him some hornworms (they always get him going) and some supers and he ate them but again today, he's still sitting across his log. Hasn't gone back in his house yet but I'm sure he'll be doing that soon.

sigh...Silly Dragons. I put her on her log to warm up and I'm about to get her some greens and Dubia's to see if she'll eat then bath time. She's alert but sluggish. I've decided I don't like brumation lol I hope for us both they don't do this long :)

Only bright side is that Dexter had a bath yesterday and she pooped and now she is extra alert and perky! So at least I have one dragon that is awake!

Well other than being alittle sleepy and slow to wake she's still eating and doing her business, she will bask for a good chunk of the day but also is taking more naps but on her warm side on the floor.. She is alert when I take her out so I'm hoping that she just slows down and doesn't brumate :) I don't think she's got enough body fat to really sleep she's only 180g

That's exactly what mine would do every time the weather would start to turn. They were alert when I took them out but napped and sat around in their tank all day.

Luci must understand that we are home on the weekends. After his bath on Friday he stayed on his log and hammock for most of the weekend. This morning he's back in his house with his head down.
