The gopher tortoise in my back yard is so ungrateful. Everyday I put out an offering of greens, grapes and other veggies I am cutting up for the dragons. And everyday he walks right past and even on top of his yummy, health foods. He even hisses at me if I just so happen to walk back there and he is out. I have read about other people around here doing the same thing, offering similar foods and their tortoises eat it happily. But not this one, so he can move on to his next hole (they have up to 30 in their territory) because I am mad at him right now.

Gopher tortoise and I are fighting right now

I took these last summer, they are not the best. I took them from my deck and had to zoom really far to get them.
As you can see there is not much food out there so I tried to be nice and feed him but he is not interested. It is a very neglected beach lot. But he has lived this long with no help.
