My name is Christopher and I'm new to the forums. I just bought 2 dragons a week ago. They are approximately 1 month old. I've made mistakes regarding just about everything however I am working to correct them. I have been reading up on them non-stop since they arrived. I'm looking to get 2 tanks so that they can get out of this 20g that was supposed to be sufficient. (*note to self, take pet store employee's advice with a grain of salt) I'm looking in the 40-55 gallon range. I don't have endless supplies of money so I want good value (not necessarily the cheapest). Would 40g be sufficient for each dragon? I've also noticed 40g tanks can have an assortment of dimensions. Is there an ideal tank? Is there a particularly good brand, or internet store that doesn't just carry one type of tank? I have so many questions but I'll try to space them out and not go on and on. Thanks for any input ya'll can provide.

40-55 gal are perfect. I'm not sure of any particular brands or websites but check online classified ads for deals. Any used tanks u purchase should be cleaned thoroughly & sanitized w/ a bleach/water solution. Sorry I couldn't b of more help, if I find anything, I'll let u know.

welcome to the forum Christopher!
I got some "take with a grain of salt" advice from pet store employees as well. Luckily, they are forgiving little pets and with some good advice, everything can be put back on the right track!

I'm definately getting back on track. I need to take a trip up there again today to return the combination hood that was sold to me for a rediculous $130!

call your local petco and ask when they will be having their next 1 dollar per gallon sale.(the lid will be separate but can still get the setup for 65 bucks) otherwise petsmarts critter cage runs about 89 to 109 bucks with lid.
