So... My oldest beardie, Mick, is 3 years old. He's been living with my mom for the past 2 years due to moving and space issues. Now that I have room for him, she wants to keep him. I'm fine with that, except I just found put that she hasn't replaced his UV bulb the whole time she's has him. I suspect he has MBD. It would explain some things. I'm buying him new bulbs and I've told my mom I want to bring him home. It's entirely my fault. Idk if I can take him to the vet however, because he's extremely aggressive. Idk if the vet will deal with his attitude. He eats and poops and drinks well. In every other way, he seems to be doing fine. I'm devestated.

I will be calling the vet in the morning to ask about him and one of my babies. While the bigger baby is doing awesome, the smaller one just isn't. I've had him over a week now and he hardly eats. He hasn't eaten at all in a couple days. He did have some poop in his cage but it appears to be just the white stuff and liquid. I'm not 100% sure what is wrong with him, but I've done enough research to warrant a visit to the vet. Wish us luck. He's my angel and I want him to feel better and grow to be as big and beautiful as I imagined he would.

Are u housing the babies 2gether? If so, that could be why the bigger dragon is doing awesome & the little dragon isn't. Dragons shouldn't be housed 2gether, one dragon will have the dominating role of the enclosure. As you can see.

The slightly bigger one is living separately from the smaller one. I have a feeling he was dehydrated and not eating well before I brought him home. The breeder had one in the tank that looked several weeks older and i think the smaller ones weren't having a chance getting to the food. He started eating a couple days after I brought him home, but nothing substantial. Maybe 2 or 3 crickets. I fed them separately even when I did have them both in the same tank. I let the smaller one eat in the tank and removed the slightly larger one and fed him in a separate tank. They lived together here for about 4 or 5 days.

Renegade update: He started trying to eat again about 4 days ago, but he's still only eating 1-3 a day. He's stressed incredibly easy so I'm just trying to leave him alone and only bother him for feeding and cleaning. He hasn't pooped, so not much cleaning needed. Hoping he'll poop soon so I can get a fecal sample to the vet. Will probably head back to the vet this week, although that's just going to stress him out more. Really hoping we can get this resolved. He looks so puny compared to his healthy, same age brother. :(
