lights can be put on timer. how old is your dragon? the younger the dragon, the more imperative it is that they be fed EVERY DAY. would it be possible for you to take a smaller set up with you?

Thanks for answering me, I have a wedding to go to about 2 hrs away, I have those dual lights on a 40 gal breeder for him. What would you recommend for a carry case. We are driving....

if you want to short term travel with him, maybe invest in a 10 gallon tank and lid and a small work light fixture from home depot and a 40 watt household bulb for basking. he would be ok without uvb for a few days but he still needs to stay warm so he can digest properly. just make sure he also has a cool side just like in his 40gal. i think you can do that in a 10 gal with a 40 watt bulb, youll just have to use a therm to check.
