getting darker?

So lately it seems like while he is in his tank he gets darker, but when i give him a bath or sometimes just when i take him out he lightens back up and gets more color. Always when i give him a bath though. anyone know why?

Dragons tend to get darker when they are getting ready to shed or when soaking up UV rays.

What are your temps?
What do you use to measure your temps?
What brand of UV light do you have?
How old is your UV light?

basking temps are 90-105, use a digi with a probe, reptisun 10.0 and its about 3 months old now.

also, he is shedding atm, but it was weird it kinda went in reverse from usual, all the shed came off of his head and neck first now the body is starting to shed, but i just wondered why his color would come back in a bath and why hes so dark in his tank.
