Since some of us were dicussing prolapse I wanted to share pictures of a frog prolapse. I checked on my blue eyed whites tree frogs and my little boy had a very large prolapse going on. Last night I saw a big poop in there water but figured it was his tank mate since he is much bigger, WRONG! So I used some dechloranated water with 1/2 tsp of organic honey and soaked him till it went back in, took about an hour. The last photo is the after, I'm holding him in a "hospital" tank until I'm sure he's okay.

I know! Poor little guy, it had to have happened last night and I went to sleep then he went to sleep and I didn't notice until he woke up tonight. I was praying that it would go back in and I wouldn't have to push it in. I soaked him for 30 min and nothing, then I just left him and sure enough it went back in. I had a whole operation going, Frankie soaking his butt in honey and Dexter right next to him soaking her toe in betadine!

The funny thing is they are so smart, they really know what they need to do. When I found him, he was sitting at the edge of his water bowl with his butt in the water. Then he kept trying to push it in himself and he got some of it in.
