I found mustard greens at Ralphs. Poor Hef woke up to no mustard greens to be found. Seymore hasn't been happy with the greens either. They really do like mustard greens. I want to try flowers for Seymore . Hef hasn't eaten any salad yet . I'm thinking he's starting with proteins to get his digestive stuff moving again . He hasn't pooped either he's been eating for a week. I put wax worms in his salad yesterday he very precisely got the worms and no salad.

:) little bugger!! lol Yea Izzy like mustard greens, collard and turnip greens oh and kale.. haven't gotten her to eat anything else no veggies or fruit.. I did get her to lick a bit of a banana yesterday..I want to try some flowers as well my neighbor has a hibiscus that is about to bloom inside and I asked her for a couple pedals when it does :) I try and offer lots of variety.. So far this week her salad consists of collard, kale, cilantro, orange bell pepper, asian pear, cuc, yellow squash and green beans. with some bee pollen ontop

I found mustards too! Last week I even found turnip greens which I haven't had in years. Doll is in an orange phase she will eat anything that is orange. Last week my hibiscus plant flowered and Dolly at that she loved it. I also found that Bumble likes strawberries :)

Hef just ate his salad . I really think he was waiting to poop before he ate veggies. So wow what an experience to get through brumation and to come out of it. He's my normal guy now. I know what to expect next time . He brummated for real.

I'm glad to hear that Hef is back to his old self.. Brummation I think will always be a mystery :) Izzy is still sluggish but she eats well, poops well sometimes she'll go everyday and recently she'll go every other..I think it just comes down to getting to know their habits.. Hef looks good and he's got the look of "ok, now what all has been going on since I've been sleeping???? fill me in mom" lol
With Izzy I've been making notes everyday of if she eats, if she poops, what her behavior is and I weigh her to see what's going on as she's still growing. She's still shedding all that's left is top half of her back and her head. (by the time she's all done I'm sure she'll start again lol) oh and she shed 1 back toe lol weird.
So I guess they will keep brummation a secret from us and make us worry about them..... Shedding is a mystery lol I'd love to see what Izzy is going to look like once adult.
