Nice beardie!! I have a Spike too and he has been a raging maniac after he woke up from brumating for about 5 months....eating, pooping, glass dancing....all sorts of weird things he didn't do before going to sleep. Sort of fun!!
Nice beardie. Looks like he's getting ready to shed his tail.
Wait til they get bigger and they're shedding their whole entire body or an annoying body part (AKA the lower half of their belly and vents). Then you hear this loud banging noise and you go over to see what's causing all that racket. You see your beardie sitting there, acting all innocent until you leave the room. Then they're at it again, trying to find a way to get the skin off their bodies. Allie wants nothing more than to run around looking for something to scratch herself on and my hands looks like a cat went over them. Well, the miracles of a growing, shedding beardie.
Then when you give them a bath in the bathroom and they see themselves in the mirror. Instant glass waving and dancing. Allie's been getting a bath every day because she keeps tracking her poop all over the place and being very unladylike. (I guess it feels good to her shedding skin. But don't bother trying to give a her a cool compress to soothe that itchy spot. It doesn't work because she's trying every way to get away from you. I gave up with a cool compress and went ahead and gave her a warm soak and bath.
She was nice and quiet for about a few minutes before she went crazy. No swimming beardie, just a soaking noisy beardie who wants you to help her out.
Spike loves being scratch when his going through a Shed, as soon as his finished a body shed his tale seems to start all over again!
If I'm not to help its his trusted logs that provide it for him
Spike hats bath time, he just wants to jump out and go crazy running around on the floor
