hey guys! sorry i haven’t been active recently. a lots been going on but i’m back! anyway— i’ve been having such a hard time getting ollie bugs! stores near us are completely out and whenever they get a shipment they’re all dead. hornworms, roaches, crickets. my dad picked up mealworms but i’m reluctant to feed them since he’s still young. our stores say it’s a national shortage but idk. where have you guys been getting your bugs? any place that ships well? i’m in northeast ohio if that helps! thanks :)

I am in Valley City and have a roach colony I am trying to get rid of. Will supply you with endless food and super easy to care for. I am asking $50.

I keep them in a bin with egg crates. They do need to be replaced like every 3-6 months, depending on how many roaches are in there. I give them a half an orange every 3 day, along with a tray of oats and some greens. You can actually feed them anything. Cricket food, dog food, scraps. If you read about care, people will say to keep them warm with like a heating pad. I do not. I keep them ina cabinet in my laundry room and they breed anyway....right now there are only 5 males but lots growing up and will probably be males. But you want more males then females anyway. I have had this colony for a year and just sold 1,000 of them because my dragon has decided he likes cricket best. Any other questions don’t hesitate. If my dragon still liked then I’d be thrilled because they are cheap and easy to Take care of.

I just wanted to make sure you didn’t want to buy these. I have a store in Lakewood that will take them but I wanted to give you a chance first.
If you’re located near Lakewood, the store is scales and tails. Honestly though the price for roaches is high compared to breeding your own.
also, there is a site called the critter depot. I get my crickets from them. You can get 1,000 crickets for $25 and free shipping. They always arrive alive. Crickets are super easy to keep alive. I have a big bin that I cut the center of the lid on and glued cheese cloth. I fill it with broken up egg crates. I feed them oranges, oats and greens.
good luck!!

I order from Dubiaroaches.com. They ship in a plastic container. I’ve never had a problem with any dead roaches from them.

I order from Josh’s Frogs and they have a big sign on their website about the mail being slow and they can’t guarantee live delivery unless we use fedex or UPS.
