Not really, I guess you could try but crickets tend to carry more bacteria and they might eat each other. It's probably easier to just get some plastic drawers for the worms.
Good luck with crickets though worms are much easier.
You even should separate the different stages of meal-worms. They will eat the larva etc. I just use a 3 drawer organizer container for each stage. They can't climb out as long as you don't put the oats or whatever substrate all the way to the top.
