First time with Hornworms

This morning I fed my beardies hornworms for their treat, the beardies looked at the worms hesitated and ran to their basking spots. Later that morning when my GF woke, I asked her to check the worms I put in there (was only 3 cause their size) and they arent there any more. I'll check later, but I was hoping to watch the beardies eat them. BAH!!

I suspect they wont hesitate this evening either if they actually ate the worms. I read in the forums that the tan beige stuff in the container is their chow, according to the herp shop its hornworm eggs.
