So I took Sydney out to bask on our deck and she picked up a dried up pink geranium petal. I was kind of concerned because I dont know if she can have them. So I gave her some turnip greens and she ate three bites!!! I know its not alot but she hasnt ate on her own in 8 months! I'm so excited and happy. Hopefully this is the start of her eating on her own again. With school and nannying and homework its soo hard to syringe feed her on a schedule anymore. I think i'll not feed her for a few days and see what she does. :)

You are fine with the geranium petal. Just be careful about plants outside. They could harbour bacteria left behind by other insects.

That is great that she went for some food on her own!

Have you started with holding hand feedings?
I am glad she is showing a improvement.

Well I didnt give her anything yesterday. Im not going to for a few days and see what happens. Someone slashed my brand new tire on my car so i had to buy a new one. Now i only have 15.00 until next week. UGH. So im going to try with crickets instead of ordering silkies.

Yikes. Sorry to hear about your tires. What is wrong with people?
