Puffy had his first bath tonight. Don't think he liked it too well, lol. The water cooled off pretty darn quick - how long should I leave him in there? He was only in for about 5 min tonight. Also, is there an ideal time to bathe them? I left his heat lamp on a bit over the 14 hours so he could dry out. Day 5 and he's starting to shed a bit around his face. I looked at some size charts and with him being about 6 1/2" I figure he's between 6 and 8 weeks. I so hope he keeps doing well and gets big and we have him for years. I just love my first reptile :)

Hey Christi - he looks good! Luke-warm water is just fine. The thing you want to avoid is COLD water.

I like to let them soak towards the end of the day, giving them an hour of lights afterwards. I feel that it helps their bodies absorb the water more beneficially overnight.
