Fire flies

There was just a post about a fly getting into a tank. Everybody needs to know that firefly\Lightening bugs are coming out. Your beardie CANNOT eat them. They are deadly. It is almost immediate. If your tank isnt screened so that bugs cant get in, then you should fix it now.

it wasn't a firefly. we don't have those here. it was just a normal house fly

I figured I'd start a new thread with that because I want everybody to see it. Just be sure that no other bugs can get into the cage.

It's like "less-than-10-seconds-dead" if they eat one. This would certainly be some good information for any new owners out there thinking about taking their beardie outside for some evening sun.
