Hello, first off, how old is your bearded dragon? If he/she is 0-3 months you should be feeding 3-5 times a day and as much as they can eat in 15 minutes. If its 4-8 months twice a day and as much as you can feed them in 15 minutes. Any older once a day. Baby beardies diet should be 70% bugs and 30% veggies and greens. When there adults it totally flips.. Also a little bit of fruit every week. A berry or so. Also, I have heard that Dunia roaches are the best feeder. I personally have never had my beardie try them because its not allowed where I live but those are filling and full of nutrients. Also only feed you beardies dragon bugs that are no bigger than the space in between their eyes. If you do, they could get impacted and have serious troubles, but here's a website to help you more:)https://www.exoticdirect.co.uk/news/bearded-dragon-food-advice#:~:text=Bearded Dragons should be fed,to three times a day. Hope this helps!

My beardie is approx. 3mo old. Same with me. I can’t have roaches either. As far as sleeping cycle goes: lights on at 2pm. Off at 2am. At about 3-4 o’clock I feed her 5 silkworms and 20 crickets. At about the same time I feed her THIS CACTUS. At 5 o’clock I feed her approx 10 Phoenix worms. Then a few hours later I feed her 20 more crickets. I was assuming to just feed her 20 crickets twice a day and then silk worms, Phoenix worms, and cactus once a day. I’m guessing she’s healthy. She’s got a big ol belly on her. I’ll be scheduling a wellness exam with my veterinarian for my beardie soon.
thanks again.

All your dragons need salads fed once / day -- if your feeding only insects now they will not eat any salads when they turn a year old and the diet will need to flip to salads mostly w insects 2-3 times per week --

Ignore the kale thing its a good staple feeder -- you want your dragon eating some salad now even if only a little bit -- you may haft to use your worms to lure him / her to the salad bowl -- BSFL are a great lure to the salad bowl --- you do not need to dust them -- hand feed them as well to your baby -- great taming worm --

I thought we don't give our dragons kale.

We give them collard greens, mustard greens, butternut squash, some berries. Dark leafy greens usually.

Kale is a great staple feeder -- it is actually better than some of the others mentioned - has more nutritents

Hello, I tried feeding her peeled cucumber, apple and strawberry, cactus, and green grapes. She’s not having any of it. I tried mixing cucumbers with Phoenix worms but she doesn’t eat the cucumber, just the Phoenix worms. Any suggestions?thanks.

You need to try different greens - dragons are picky and will only eat certain things its trial and error like w/ your heat bulbs--- I would get a mix of turnip greens and collards try those two see if she will go for those - if not try mustard and collard or mustard and kale -- try some squash like zucchini or yellow or butternut -- its hard to say what they will eat -- keep using your BSFL on the salads -- please no cucumber its mostly water and will give runny stools -- apple might upset the stomach cuz of the pectin -- cactus is good and green grapes and strawberry - try some blueberry most love blueberry but you must only feed once in awhile ---- too much sugar and it can cause diabetes -- raw shredded sweet potato will keep them regular -- you can drop some raw unpasteurized honey on a leaf they tend to like sweet
