Essential Oils?

So my room has begun to smell bad from either the Dubia roaches or my lizard. It just smells terrible. So i put thing that will make it smell better. It's not a defuser just a light that burns the oils when i put it on there. Anyways i just want to make sure its not going to harm her. The essential oil was a orange one.

Your beardie should be fine. The essential oils that are toxic to reptiles are:

• Jasmine
• Birch
• Cedarwood
• Black pepper
• Juniper Melaleuca
• Cinnamon
• Clove
• White fir

• Coriander
• Any other tree oils

Low-quality citrus oils can be toxic. Stick to oils that are 100% natural and don't use anything too strong (also avoid using a high concentration of oils). If you can't find information on the toxicity of a certain oil to reptiles, try looking for articles about whether or not the oil is safe to use on dogs, cats, and especially birds before you try it.

Chamomile, lavender, and grapefruit are all safe for beardies, as well as some others.

I have cardboard cutouts on top of my tank (airflow is fine , bd get shipped in cardboard boxes) if ur worried ur bd cant breath cut holes in the cardboard, also ur roach container should have like 8 holes and a lid , the roaches definitely dont need air flow , if the smell is putrid its ur bd, if its a damp smell its ur roaches and u need to change out their bedding and do a deep clean on them, if you have a mold outbreak u basically have to get rid of all ur roaches if its the bad kind of mold (black, green, sometimes white but not always)

U need to do daily checks and make shure dead roaches arnt staying in there for more than 12 hrs , can i see ur roach please?
