Hey everyone. More of a post around, what do you typically observe, I have a beardie who's still in brumation for the first time but I'm curious how they will behave as they begin to come out of it? Currently I have just a ceramic heater that runs all day and night to keep her area ~ 75-79 deg F throughout the day but should I start to turn her lights on progressively again or just one day will she show the signs she's ready to go back to normal and just re-establish her pre-brumation schedules? Just not sure what to expect or what to look for as she hasn't really left her hide area for the past week to week and a half now but will look at you as she is slightly awake for parts of the day. Very minimal weight loss either as I do periodically check her just to make sure and we did ensure no parasites going into it so she seems healthy but looks drunk; or at least that's how I look the next morning :) Thanks for any input on the question regarding what to look for or how they behave coming out of it.

She sounds like shes being lazy and not in brumation -
Please get her lights on and photo period of 12 hrs on 12 hrs off
a good sleeping temp is 65-75 at nite - dragons sleep better w/ cooler temps and NO lights on at all

well overall she's been like this since late June with minimal eating/drinking and its a behavior consistent with brumation and very inconsistent with her normal behavior but confident it's brumation in consulting with vet. She's usually one to bask and run around the house and even back yard on her leash. But my question still remains, once she comes out of brumation what kind of behaviors do typical beardies show?

Normal basking and slow appetite back
