How important is it to cover the side and back walls with a background? I don't have any of them covered and she doesn't seem to mind.

I would only cover them if she sees her reflection and it's causing stress

What would the signs of stress be? She's eating and pooping fine, no glass surfing, shows her beard once in a while but never black. She is mellow and doesn't mind being handled. She seems fine.
