Enclosure and toy

As I mentioned in another post, I changed things around in Precious's enclosure. Added some new plants and a post.
The plant's leaf hangs over her hammock and she doesn't like that. First thing in the morning when I turned on her lights, just as she was waking up...she was staring at her hammock, lol.

So, she loves the post I put in there and is on it all the time. I noticed the past few weeks that she would try to climb the walls in her enclosure and would even try climbing the picture of the rock in her background. I wanted to try to come up with some way of adding height and I saw pics of someone's enclosure with something similar to this so I copied off them, she really loves it. But...she was still eyeing the plant near her hammock!

We kept finding her high up on the post but never witnessed her coming down off it and sometimes she seemed confused about that. So my son put superworms on the lower part of the post behind her to try to see how she turns around to go down. But instead, she wanted to attack the tongs lol!

This is probably the most unflattering pic of her but I thought it was funny. She looks like Jabba the Hut!

Then I was at the dollar store and came across this toy that reminded me of her. She sized it up for a few seconds then went on about her business

Later on, I caught her back with the toy. It looked like she was saying "blech, this thing isn't near as gorgeous as I am!"

I love the ramp! I'm sure she is turning around and it wouldn't surprise me if she is just hanging off of it and dropping down. Dexter does that with her ledge, she manages to turn around on it and then just kinda of slides off it.

Thanks, I'm happy I finally did something that was actually a success. A lot of times I buy or do something that I'm sure they'll love but it doesn't impress them lol! Still haven't actually caught her in the process of coming down. I was just worried because sometimes she'll let herself just drop and the highest point is about 20 inches. I'm really curious to actually see what she does!
She finally got onto her hammock and licked the plant. She didn't stay, she climbed up onto the ramp from the hammock. With her old basking house, I had a smaller plant that hung over on it a little and many times at night she would go to sleep with her nose in the plant. One time she was sleeping standing up in the plant! Eventually, she pooped on it and even though I cleaned it, it didn't look right afterward so I tossed it. That's why I've left the plant so far, because I think she'll come around to appreciate it like she did the other one.
