Hey everyone, I'm pretty new here but am wanting to know what you all think about Mushi's enclosure and what would you do or change about it?

Its size is 47" (L) x 27" (H) x 27" (W)

For lighting I have a 36" UVB 10 30w

Basking bulb is a 75w flood light

Subtrate is reptile carpet/artificial grass

Temps are...
Basking 102f
Warm 86f
Cool 73f

On the right hand side looking at enclosure under her basking platform is her cat bed which I pop up which she sleeps in every night, I have to flatten it during the day or she will just hide in there most of the time.

She enjoys the rocks on the cool end as they stay quite cool there.

My issue is since I've had her we have had a rough start, she was overrun by coccidiosis and got that treated then I had a visitor who fed her locusts which were gigantic, she spewed these up and continued to spew daily for a few days, lost plenty of weight in which I ended up feeding her via syringe puréed veges etc

Now she's completely clear of coccidiosis etc but she's still not eating all that well. She won't touch her salads at all and now hardly touches her insects

Any ideas in that department also would be of great help

Thanks [emoji846]

How long have you had her? And when was the last time you changed her UVB? Has she been retested to make sure the parasite is gone?

My girl was treated for pinworms last spring and she went from being a great eater to not wanting to eat as much. With her though, I realized that her not eating as much was only because she wasn't feeding a parasite anymore, she was just feeding herself. Sometimes bee pollen sprinkled on her food helps to peak their interest. You can also try giving her a probiotic to help balance her stomach out again.

Have had her for just over a month now, am repeating fecal next week but she's definitely a happier dragon than before she was treated, she was constantly black before and now she's a beautiful bright yellow and her poop is no longer runny.

Her uvb is 4 months old

I gave her a probiotic couple times after treatment.

If I put the syringe in front of her she will take the puréed foods but she just won't eat salad from her bowl or live insects on her own like she first did.
She lost 30gms in the process of her treatment plus the locust issue but with my syringing her she's gained it all back thankfully.

Here she is sleeping last night - bless her

My Dolly did that for awhile this winter. She went off live food and salad and would only eat from a syringe. I finally practiced tough love and didn't give her a syringe for 2 weeks and she finally started eating on her own again.

The UVB bulb, is it a T8 size bulb or smaller T5? I'm just wondering if maybe your UVB is too far away from her.

Her bulb is a T8. She came to me with this enclosure and didn't have issues previously with eating.

Did Dolly lose Much weight with the tough love? I'm thinking that's my only option now is to just stop syringing etc she ate a few live crickets from my hand last night but I had to remove their legs so they stayed on me for her to eat them, talk about stubborn haha

Dolly lost about 30g from September to February. She was a big girl though and could stand to loose the weight.

Yeah Mushi is only 390grams and not sure she could afford to lose much. She's quite happily eating gisborne roaches and cicadas, crickets and bsfl but won't touch a single green unless it's a little bit of clover when she's out in my garden

My oldest girl refuses her greens. I have to sneak them into her mouth when she's chewing something else.
