 UGH.. so now egon has decided that anything that isn't green or alive- he will not touch. I've gotten sneaky and wrapped his mustard greens around his veggies and nope-- he tears it open and puts his NON green veggies in a pile in his bowl... as to mock me :( grr. So basically he gets mustard greens and collard greens (of which he will generally leave the collard greens for later as a last resort) ... any way to get him to eat his non-green food?

Two of mine are the same way, I don't worry about it, that may be why they are generally called Greens, rather than veggies or salad ;). Even the pellets I feed, there are red, brown & green ones, I only buy when the containers are predominantly green, then stock up, because the red & brown are usually left behind untouched. So I feed those to the roaches & they get them anyway :p.

Hey, just a thought... have you tried bell peppers? Try hand feeding one or two before it can see what the color is, just make sure you chop it up fine.

Yes I be tried the green and red bell peppers and green beans.... He pushes those in the corner.
Well... there went my not so helpful suggestion. I'm wondering if you could blend up the other colors so fine that he couldn't pick them all out? If you wanted to worry about it, that is. At least he eats greens!
