I recently got a bearded dragon from my local Pet smart store. He has a nice tank with plenty of room for him considering he is small. (Still a baby) However I noticed that he hasn't really eaten in about 5 days. I got him the 18th of June and he ate the next day. He ate 4 and half mealworms. I keep pellet food in the tank but he doesn't really eat it. He mostly just makes a mess with them. I tried giving him some fruits and vegetables but he ignores them and has no interests for them. Now when I put mealworms in the tank he just quickly looks at them then ignores them. What can I do? He is possibly sick?

Mealworms aren't really nutritious to feed them every day. In fact I wouldn't use them at all. The shell of the meal worm is real hard and could upset their digestive tract and cause impaction if the beardie isn't well hydrated. I would try to feed him small crickets or dubia. I would also get rid of the pellet food all together. It's better for them to get their nutrition from fresh, live food. Babies need more protein than salad at this age so I wouldn't worry about him not eating his veggies at the moment, still offer them though. Here is a good food guide: http://greathousefarm.com/Greathouse-Reptile-Nutrition-List.pdf
