Both of my Dragons are attacking and eating their substrate they have plenty of food offered to them and veggies but they eat their food and attack the substrate.

What kind of substrate do you have?? its best if the substrate isn't anything that they can eat..as it can lead to impaction issues..

I had the bark at first with my baby and I would watch it miss the crickets and get a face full of bark. I switched to tile and it's the best! Even the roaches can't get under it. I would try tile. I tried the fake grass too and my baby would nip at it.

Yeah I already started adding tile but it's expensive... I have one 40 gallon habitat and one 20 gallon habitat and tile is 88 cents a pop so I'll be doing this over time

I got my tile for free by asking if the store had any leftovers they were going to throw away, normally they have small amounts not enough to tile a room due to recycle.

I have 2 40 gal breeder and for 1 I've used 2 big tiles I think they are 18x18 that leaves about a inch along the back and inch on 1 side so I just filled that with wood 1x1's the other 40 I have 2 plank type ceramic tiles that cover most of the bottom.. I agree ask if there are any scraps as they shouldn't be that expensive

Hm... it shouldn't really be that expensive. By tiles are you meaning wall tiles, or floor? I think I only used maybe three tiles for my entire enclosure, and as suggested I just bought tiles from a 'reject box' at my local Rona. Maybe cost me $5 in total.
