eating less and color is very dark

For a while we were feeding Sunkiss crickets in the morning and mealworms in the evening...then a little over a week ago we switched the mealworms for feeder roaches. She seems to really like them. However, she has been eating less and less crickets in the morning....and then this weekend she didn't really eat that many roaches either. She has been shedding quite a bit and I'm wondering if she is just fussy because of that.
I have been giving her baths as well.
Now yesterday when I got home from work her color was really dark...I've never seen her like that before. I took her out and bathed her and played with her and cuddled her to sleep...shortly after I took her out of her tank she returned to normal color, and remained that way after she went to sleep. Then my fiance called me and told me that when we went to feed her this morning she was dark again. (I leave for work before they are awake)......anyway, I am concerned about her....what's going on?

Our Zeta is dark every morning...I'm wanting to say its a temp thing.

Has the temp in your dragons enclosure dropped, due to the colder weather? Temp changes affect their activity & appetite. Mood, temperature & lighting affect their coloration.

It could very easily be temp related. Cleo is always dark until she basks for a while in the morning. And if she's hanging out on the cool side a lot because she's shedding it might affect her coloration during the day as well.

Just keep an eye on her, monitor her appetite & double-check her temps.
