Hello,
We have a 2 year old Leatherback beardie that we want to sell, but she does not like to be held. We've basically stopped trying because we can't catch her or she goes into her threatening pose. Any advice on how to tame her? I know whoever wants to buy her will want a nice Beardie! If she has a really full belly, she will tolerate being stroked on her back but that's about it.
Thanks!

You can try hand feeding some treat worms or BSFL- put a fleece blanket or piece of clothing something w/ your smell on it in her hide- approach from the side not above she thinks your hand is a predator coming from above-- you need to build trust w/ her and patience-- she needs to see your hand as a friend not something that's going to hurt her- start there-- get your hand in her tank as much as possible
